With over 3 billion people having access to the internet, 8 out of 10 users owning a smartphone, information and data are increasing by the minute. ICT has become part of everyday life worldwide. Lithuania’s ICT sector is evolving at a rapid rate with an increasing amount of companies setting up and expanding with the help of the fastest and most affordable internet connections in Europe. Lithuania rank 16th in the world for ICT skills and attracts many huge organisations including AIG, Nasdaq and Google.

The country hosts 13 of the 20 largest IT companies in the Baltics. It is estimated that IT, laser technologies, biotechnology, nanotechnology and materials science will account for 35% of the country’s GDP in 2018 and 80% of the country’s export. Foreign investment in ICT grew 70% between 2008 and 2013 alone. The abundances of IT professionals are part of the country’s appeal and according to our friends at Invest Lithuania 46% of foreign investors choose Lithuania for their talent pool.

Lithuania is one of the most educated countries on the planet, 80% of people speak English, and one of the world's most developed telecommunications infrastructures, as well as business-friendly environment and an excellent quality of life, our Founder Richard Evans swears by it! As well as a unique infrastructure, the favorable conditions for starting a business, there are tax competitiveness of businesses in the area.
